TrailMax Announces New Traveling Axle Trailer Line

Caldwell, ID – Gem State Manufacturing, Home of TrailMax Trailers, is proud to announce the release of their Traveling Axle Trailer Line.  The traveling axle trailer features the lowest load angle in it's class of 6° designed specifically to haul equipment   with low ground clearance requirements and load angles.

The FWTD-70-TA is the first of several models to be released.  Featuring a high tensile fabricated 4-beam construction and tubular crossmembers on 12” centers, the FWTD-70-TA is rated with a 70,000# distributed capacity and a 50,000# concentrated in a 10' space.  The 6° load angle and a 16° dump angle add great versatility to the trailer for those hard to load and unload pieces of equipment. 

By design,  the hydraulic system requires no moving hoses and features quick disconnects for easy use by the operators as well as easy access controls. A 20,000 lb. hydraulic planetary winch comes standard on all models.  For an ultra durable finish, the trailer is shot blasted followed by a phosphate wash and seal before applying an epoxy primer and a urethane enamel top coat.  More specifications on the FWTD-70-TA can be found at www.trailmax.com.

The Traveling Axle Trailer line will be available in various configurations and lengths with tandem or triple axles. Many options and accessories are available as well as custom paint colors.
